I don't know what it was, but smelled quite YUMMY!!!!

*I had a lamb bone for stew and boiled it with some marinade, some
steak tips, potatoes and carrots.  Served up on wild, long grain
rice.  It was an experiment, and it turned out alright.  A bit too
salty for my liking.  But i wasn't paying attention.

She put it on the desk and turned around and it FELL OFF!!  Yummy rice
was EVERYWHERE.  And I jumped off the desk to start eating...I mean
CLEANING it up.  But Meowmie kept picking me up and shooing me away.
The NERVE!!  Meowmie was picking it up with some paper towels and she
was tossing it OUT!!  How DARE she waste such delicious food??

*It spilled all over the carpet, which i know was covered in cat
hair.  I salvaged what i could, but most of it ended up in the trash.

BAD MEOWMIE FOR NOT SHARING!!!  She was throwing it out anyway so  why
didn't she let me help inspect it?

Then she sprayed the carpet with some foul smelling stuff so i
couldn't sniff and lick the carpet.  Boooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

*I made it up to Mischief, i let her clean my bowl when i was done.

Heh, at the time they were asleep on my bed. By the time i cleaned it
up, they didn't seem to notice or care.  Mischief is the scrounger.
She's the one that will see that my plate is clean, whether or not
i've already eaten what's on it.

Mischief, the plate inspector.

Mine know I'm a vegetarian, byt they still have to inspect my food now
and then. The other day I was eating a sandwich with cheese and romero
pepper. Miranda came to watch me closely. I dropped a small bit of
pepper, and she sniffed it - then ate it! She looked to me eagerly, as
if she had wanted more. Caliban surprised me one day by eating some
cucumber that I'd dropped from my sandwich (I seem to be dropping stuff
from my sammiches all the time, don't I?).

Stinky hovered over a dish of spinach for a strangely long time a
couple of days ago.  He seems to get stoned on the smell of some
vegetables and herbs. ;)

Frank used to love the smell of thyme. If I crushed some dried thyme
between my fingers and let him smell it, he would react like it was
catnip and rub himself all over my hands, then bite my fingers.

My kitty likes to eat my food as well as hers too....she loves avacados of
all things, and the quacamole I make out of it.

What a sweetie. <melt>
Did I ever told you about the time that Stinky nodded out over a bowl
of mushroom soup?  I put a lot of dillweed in it, and Stinky was drawn
to it like a magnet.  He just hovered over the bowl, and slowly
brought his face closer . . . and closer . . . while his eyes seemed
to get heavier . . . and heavier . . . until his chin just splatted
into the soup.  Whoops!  Foruntately, by then it wasn't very hot
anymore.

Zeke wasn't that interested in cooked mushrooms, but for a while we
often cooked with Chinese dried fungi, which need to be soaked for
a while.  We had to put them on inaccessibly high shelves or in the
fridge to stop him picking the mushrooms out and leaving us with
just the water.
