It must be kitten season again, because in the last week I've seen lots of
6-8 week old kittens around at work, two of which are the splitting image of
IBKFergus, and several more who look similar enough to be obvious relatives.
However, there's clearly more adult intact cats on the site than last year,
because instead of only seeing tortoiseshell and black & white kittens,
there's now also kittens sporting hte traditional brown & black tabby
pattern, plus some very handsome marmalade or marmalade & white kittens.
They're all *so* cute, *especially* the marmalade ones, the bestest
brightest orange I have ever seen!
As much as my heart wants to take the adorable bitties home, I've learnt my
lesson. Taming a feral cat takes alot of time and one-on-one attention, not
to mention a very steady, calm, unexciting home. Things I just cannot
provide at the moment.
I've contacted the Animal Welfare League and talked to Jackie's off-sider
(Jackie is the lady who re-homed IBKFergus) and hopefully we can arrange for
someone to collect and rehome the kittens. Otherwise they'll just be
poisoned or otherwise be mal-treated.
*sigh*
Now, if we could only catch the parents, but they are *far* to 'street
smart' for that!
Any purrs you could spare for the bitties to be safely caught and rehomed
would be appreciated.

Now would be the time to catch at least the mom's. They are likely tired
and hungry after raising these guys. Even if its spay and release.

Many purrs on the way. It must be so hard to watch a situation like that
and not really be able to do much.

Lots of purrs for rehoming on the way. I do hope somehow the adults could be
