One of the first things I do in the morning is to feed the outside
cats. Since the weather has warmed up, Bucky has gone back to being an
outside cat.
Well, except for the first thing in the morning. He wanders inside,
and eats breakfast from the dishes in the kitchen, before going
rolling over and presenting me with his furry tummy, then going back
out.
Oh, and tonight. We have severe storms in the forecast, and I can hear
some thunder booming in the distance. Bucky knows where the safe
shelter is - he came to the door and meowed. I let him in.
The first thing he did was to headbutt and rub against Little Boy, the
one indoor cat who really likes him - mostly because Bucky will play
wih him (grin). Next, Bucky stopped and rubbed lightly against Little
Feet. I think he WANTED to rub against Dulce Mae, but she glared at
him, and he mosied up to Buster and rubbed against him instead.
All hello's said, he went into the kitchen and filled up.
As I walk around the apartment, I find that everytime I stop, there is
a purring little kitten head resting in the palm of my hand. If I
don't pet him, he meows at me. He's been telling me aboout his outside
adventures as well.
Right now, Bucky and Little Boy are wrestling in the hallway, while
Dulce Mae glares at them from the corner of the bed.
Buster, on the other hand, is staring at the door and wanting out,
storm cat that he is. He will have to just watch it from the window.
If I go outside, I WILL carry him, so we can watch the storm together
(no, I don't spoil my cats...).
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

I wonder if this is what heaven will be like? I hope so.
