I was on the couch yesterday watching television and Persia was snuggled up
next to me. (She finally got off the plaid shirt!)
I had my hand out and she laid her head in my palm (so sweet!). She fell
asleep. Next thing I knew, she did upside downey head in my hand. And she
finished it off with a paw draped over her nose! I didn't dare (nor care
to) move. It was just the sweetest thing! A soft little face in my hand,
paw over her eyes. And just so everyone knows, she snores. LOL Persia is
such a sweet little lady, but she snores.

My guys make tiny little "tooting" sounds when they snore. ;)

What a shame you couldn't get a picture, that sounds so sweet. :-)

That is so sweet. I remember that happened to me once. Several years
ago when Amber was so ill at the vet's, I got in his large cage and
held my hand out to him and he stretched out to lay his head in my
hand, closed his eyes, and rolled his head sideways. The bottom of the
cage was uncomfortable and my position was twisted to reach him. But I
didn't move for the longest time. He felt so bad and needed the
comfort of my hand and smell. <tears of memory>

I was thinking of this thread this morning as I sat with Sunrise on my
chest and Maggie May lying half on hte arm of the chair and half on my
arm. However, it was the sound of Bear, snoring away on the couch
across from us that made me think about it. Persia couldn't possibly
be a loud. I hope that Buddy MaCaw doesn't learn to make that sound;
he was watching Bear carefully.

Dennis got up really early this morning to go fishing. I hope this trip
is more successful than last Sunday's where he managed to kill a rabbit
and a kangaroo but no fish, but let's not even *go* there! I'm just
thankful that it wasn't our tiny little Toyota Yaris he was driving.
Anyway, he left early this morning and after he was gone, Vino got into
bed with me and curled up against me with his head on my pillow and his
back against my shoulder. He purred and purred and purred and then did
upside downy head and ground his forehead into mine. <melt>

Awww, how sweet is that? Jill, we're headed to your neck of the woods
next week. We'll be in Millington for a race. We're flying in Friday
night and out again Sunday night so we don't have a lot of extra time,
but if you have any interest in watching a car race we'd love to have
you come out and visit. We'll even take you to dinner.
