Morning note.  Rob's condition has deterioriated over night.  He is
not talking
at all this morning, though he responds when  you tell him to do
something like
open his eyes or take his medicines (laced with applesauce)  I
suggested that they
use Gerbers Lamb with Rice, but Rob closed his eyes and the nurse said
that she
didn't think he'd fancy that.  He tried to get out of bed to go to the
bathroom
while we were in there, so the nurse brought him a urinal.  He didn't
use it.
Earlier they'd had to do a full bed change on him.

They've done EEGs to see if he's having unseen siezures, EKG's to
check
his heart function, Xrays to check his bone matter, speach pathology
to see if he
can talk and how he is at eating soft foods, and are currently setting
him up to
go back to MRI to have his brain examined again.  I want to cry.

Marcia, what does a 2 & 2 go for in London these days?  I've always
wanted
to know what those type of houses look like as they figure so much in
Modern British
literature.  Do they look different in Leeds than London, and do the
Scots have
a different version?  Southern houses don't have the same style of
porches as
western houses.  We tend to have patios or large covered verendas,
where southern
porches are the type you usually see in the traditional movie types.
Maybe 8 feet
wide and covered with enough room for a rocking chair or a porch
swing.  It was
hard for me when we first moved here as the architecture is subtley
different than
else where.  If you can get the Arizona and other South West
contingent's descriptions,
they're different as well.  There are some things I really like about
South
West Architecture.

As for the boiler, we've been there done that.  It sucks to have your
hot water
draining down through the garage and out to the street.  Do British
boilers heat
houses along with water?  I've wondered about these things.  Have you
decided
to sell or not?  If you do sell, what are your plans for moving?  I
hate moving,
but love it when I'm done.

Thank you all for all the purrs and prayers.  Please keep them
coming.  We need
all the help we can get right now.

I sent this by accident before I was done writing it.  The full and
sad story is here as well.

Pammy, you go ahead and cry, and we'll all cry with you. Of course
purrs for Rob; you already know we're all pulling for him. But it's
you I wanted to talk about. You are my new hero. Rob is so lucky he's
got you.

Many, many purrs and prayers. Miss Lily Whiskers has asked whether
sending you her yellow mousie that went to Afghanistan would help?

{{{HUGS}}} and you know where I am.

Pam I join with the others of the group in sending Rob and you
purrs and positive thoughts.  I've got 5 big cats and one kitten,
all of whom are sending lots of purrs.

Your family has been through so much.  {{{{Pam}}}}
