I've been offline a few days-- and just got DSL.  I know, I'm the last
on the planet.  Anyway, I don't think I can get through about 2000
messages, so we're sending you all  all-purpose purrs.

The snowstorm came through, then everything froze.   I have a serious
case of winter doldrums-- this time last year, *I was going to Italy!
Oh I wish I was going again!  It was the best thing I've ever done.
Anyway, the boys are-- erm, what should I call it?  "Invigorated" is a
nice word for it.:P  Stinky is just the world's gentlest, quietest
sweetie pie, but still amazes me with how, um, peppy he can get.

Welcome back, and congratulations on the DSL. But you're not the last on the
planet; I have two clients still on dial-up with AOL, paying $26 or so a
month, when they could get DSL for $20.

I can't offer you a trip to Italy; how about a slice of pizza? :-)

But I've been meaning to ask: "Kreisleriana" as in "Fritz"?

No-- Kreisleriana as in the piano piece by Schumann. ;)

Well that's certainly acceptable. I was thinking you were a fan of Fritz, as
am I.

I've still have dial up at home :-( Pain in the B*tt,~~~ alas, unless I can
get a DSL that will give me 3 DSL accounts in 3 different locations for the
price of one (like my Dial Up does) and at the same cost as DU...Dial Up I
remain... :-) Liz

Yeah, that is a problem, if you have multiple locations. Some DSL providers
give you a free dial-up for other locations (or at least they used to) but
most probably charge extra for that now, if they even offer it.

Bummer.

I was just starting to wonder where you'd disappeared to again. Glad to
see you back. Purrs for your doldrums. After the first snow, all the
white stuff can start to get a bit depressing.

The cats seem to enjoy it, though. I just woke up and let the cats
outside for their first sniff of fresh air this morning. When I let them
back in a moment later, they both zoomed through the flat like crazy,
Caliban poofing his tail off and on.
