IN MEMORY OF MY SWEET ROMEO
ALWAYS LOVED
FOREVER IN MY HEART
March 1, 1994 - February 14, 2006

February 14, 2007 - One year ago today:

It was one year ago today that my darling Romeo went to Rainbow Bridge.

I still miss him terribly - I will never forget his sweet face, and his
loving and kind nature.

Rest In Peace, Sweet Mamma’s Boy.

I will love you always,

Your Mamma. xxxx

PS: Please look after my Tiffy...

February 14, 2006 - Letter to my Romeo:
You were such a sweet cat, Romeo. You and Juliet came to me when you were
just 6 weeks old. I hadn't planned on getting two kittens, but when I saw
how cute and mischievous you were, I couldn't resist getting you as well as
Juliet. As it turned out, it was an excellent decision to take both of you
because you grew up together and both became beautiful, loving and gentle
cats.

It was always very difficult, almost impossible to take good photos of you.
Your fur was so dark and shiny - your beauty was not always evident in
photos. You were a cat that had to be appreciated in person.

You loved your sister Juliet, and you spent most of your time cuddling with
her, and grooming her. Occasionally you would annoy her and she would hiss
at you. Within a few minutes though, you would be friends again.

You were always a Mamma's Boy - you were truly my cat. Every day, even in
summer, you had to cuddle with me in bed. You would cuddle beside me with my
arm around you. During the winter months you would prefer to sleep under the
covers with me, either on my chest or beside me. You were always such a
lovely, cuddly kitty.

Thank you for the wonderful years, Romeo. Twelve years was not enough - I
wish you could have stayed for another twelve years.

You were my sweet Mamma's Boy, and I miss you terribly. Rest in Peace my
darling boy, I'll love you always.

Love and kisses,
Your Mamma. xxxx

It doesn't seem like it's been a whole year since Romeo left...Sigh...

So many candles.....

I read all of your tribute to Romeo on your website. It's one of the
nicest I've ever seen. I just love reading such a detailed memorial of
such a wonderful cat. He really was a character!

My first cat, Lucky, (RB 6/9/1999) was a real lover like Romeo was. She
was a year old when she was given to me, and I was fortunate enough to
have he for 16 years. I miss her every single day.

Cats like Romeo are real treasures; and it's so sad that you lost Romeo
so 'young'. Twelve years just isn't enough time. They should all live
into their twenties.....

Purrs for you and Mia on this sad anniversary.

You have my sympathy.
But you knew that.

How else would Max get to meet a fine Aussie cat like Romeo?
Not bloody likely in THIS world!

At least we get to know such fine, yet ephemeral,  beings for a while.

Cheers & Tears

Aww, he is a sweetie.  I'm especially fond of under-cover
teddy-kitties too.
