Parts 1 and 3 of David's posts came through my news feed, as did
others through and including #27.  I didn't see a Part 2, though. Was
there one?

The messages on my news feed started with #3.  I am missing #1, 2, and 15.

Correction (I seem to be doing that a lot lately):  I do have #1.  In fact,
I responded to that one and marked it for follow-up, which is why it was not
in the list I just checked.  So, I am missing #2 and #15.

I don't have #2 or #15 either. Maybe he made a mistake in numbering.

No #2 as explained in another post - there was #2 but it came through
with no number.  #15 is an old favourite:

                             Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the
Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours.  Just this side of the
Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush
green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always
food, water and warm spring weather.  The old and the frail animals are
young again. T hose who are maimed are made whole again.  They play all
day together.

There is only one thing missing.  They are not with their special
person who loved them on Earth.  So, each day they run and play until
the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up.  The nose
twitches!  The ears are up!  The eyes are staring!  And this one
suddenly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you
take him or her in your arms and embrace.  You face is kissed again and
again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting
pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be
separated.

Sorry: I should have explained.  #2 was the Welcome! message I have
sent out to every newcomer.  It seemed suitable to send this to all the
newsgroups so I did it earlier - and did not include the number.
