Marble has a buddy. His buddy is KitKat, the tabby from next door. Both a
neutered males and best buddies. Marble has discovered that KitKat can open
my front door. I kid you not. This is done in the wee hours of the morning.
I was woken by the sound of my front door opening in the dark. This was a
tad disconcerting, as the first time it happened I did not know what was
going on. I crept downstairs in the dark to find Marble & KitKat sitting in
the hall with the door open. KitKat has done it several times since during
the day and has tried it with the door well and truly locked. I open the
door to find KitKat hanging off the door handle by his front paws with a
"Hello, I'm cute and I'm clever" expression on his face, and Marble sat on
the doorstep below. The two then rush in the house and sit by the catfood
bowls...

LOL! What a clever cat! So glad Marble has found a friend (who'da thunk?).

If a cat can get in, so could anyone else. Suggestion: install an
additional deadbolt lock on your door(s). MLB

I love it. We used to have a neighbor cat who came over every morning to
see if our boycat could come out to play. They would spend all day chasing
each other and napping under the catnip plant. Kind of a boys gone wild
routine.

That's very cute, Helen. I can just picture that cat hanging on the door
and Marble waiting patiently.
You need a video of that!
