Footrests and Oreos and stuff

Bucky is upset that everyone wants to beat him up. Dulce Mae hisses
and slaps at him. Even Little Feet, sweetest cat in the universe,
chases him under the bed, while trying to slap his hindquarters silly.

But Bucky and Little Boy seem to have paired up. Today, I caught them
napping together on the recliner. Little Boy was using Bucky as a
footrest (damn dead camera batteries!).

And we have a new visitor cat, who has big blobs of white fur and big
blobs of black fur. He reminds me of an Oreo cookie, so I have taken
to calling him Oreo. He is sweet, but slightly skittish, although he
will come to me if I coax him for a while. He likes to be petted, and
lets me pick him up for a bit.

I don't know if Oreo has a slave, but he is very bony, so I doubt it.
In fact, I have stood over him so that other cats (Blackie) won't try
to steal his food. He likes to eat with Blackie from his pile,
however, so it appears that they are friends.

I just imagine Blackie telling him, "I know this great place with
fresh cat food, and the people are really nice!" (big grin).

Acqui, the big white tomcat who has a slave, showed up with a big sore
on his face where the fur had been pulled out. Looked like a nasty
fight. His slave does not intend to keep him in after he heals...
grrr!

Also, Little Boy seems to have decided that Senyah is nice to cuddle.
I have walked into the living room a time or two, to find him
stretched out on Senyah from her lap to her shoulder, purring away,
while Senyah tries to hold him in such a way that he doesn't fall off.
She gives me a look like "What do I do with this cat?".

I have teased Senyah, telling her she has a new boyfriend, although I
suspect Little Boy would have an easier time of it if he'd not sneeze
in her face (big grin).

Buster is finally fattening up again. After he had disappeared for
three months, he came back skinny as a rail. He started filling back
out slowly, but now I have to heft him a bit to pick him up. He still
has fish hooks for claws, though, so picking him up is a pointed
experience.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Wow - so many cat personalities to enjoy!  We have just our two and no
others in the neighbourhood as far as we can see :-(

Thank you so much for taking such good care of the kitties, Mark.
Best wishes,
