I didn't get a chance to go to yoga today, so I decided to do a quick
headstand (http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/481_1.cfm) and then exercise
in our machine then do a few other yoga poses.
Well, Issa decided that my head was at just the right height to rub his
butt on. He does what we call the "kitty dance", where he arches his
back and walks towards your legs and rubs his back half against them.
Back and forth, back and forth. Well, this time it was my head, not my
legs, that Issa kept happily rubbing against, loudly purring.
I managed to hold on for 3 minutes and then I came down and gave Issa
some well earned scritches. :)

When Jim was having back problems, we got an inversion table to relieve the
pressure on his spine. He got to the point where he was hanging upside
down.
Rosie loved to sashay back and forth by his face and tickle his nose with
her tail.
You don't want to sneeze when you have a bad back and you're hanging from
your ankles.

LOL! I've started to do some yoga exercises at home, and Caliban is
completely shocked. He sits on the cat tree watching my every move very
intently. I don't think he has decided yet what to think of this strange
new madness.

Every time I lay down on the living room floor to do my back
exercises, Rita runs over to get petted.
I mean, I'm getting down into *her* territory, so it must be for her
pets, right? yeah. So, while I'm doing
stretches and leg lifts, at least one hand is busy petting the
Princess.
