My daughters was just here a while ago and said that Gilbert seems to be
fine, but that its hard to tell since she is gone a lot and has several cats
so she isn't sure when or if he is peeing.   I told her he was getting a lot
of worldwide purrs.

Then she called me a few minutes ago and said she saw him pee just after she
got home.

Gilbert is spending most of his time in the center of her bed, practicing
return purrs and thank yous for you all.

I'm glad to hear it! That wasn't a guaranteed outcome.

It still isn't, but so far so good.  Even if all we get is a little more
time for a little boy to love him and to understand.

That is great news. Rusty has a history of urinary blockages. He
reblocked a year or two after his first blockage, while on
prescription food.  So please keep a close watch over Gilbert.
