It's a hard life being a cat in the Miles household....

As I type this, I realise just how abused and badly treated my owners
are. About 15 minutes ago Pandora came and asked me for some supper. I
couldn't be bothered to get a new case of cat food from the garage and
open it (because I'm a lazy slave!) so instead I opened 2 cans of tuna
for the masters. They cleared their plates like a pack of red bellied
piranahs fed fresh steak.

Cleo is now crashed out in front of the fire, Miss Lily Whiskers is
asleep in her hammock next to the radiator, HRFL and Pandora are asleep
on my bed and Robbie is stretched out on my sofa.

Earlier today, we had a major catnip party in the lounge, followed by
some left over fresh chicken for lunch. Pandora has spent the best part
of the day sunbathing on the patio and Miss Lily Whiskers supervised our
next door neighbour in her garden.

Yes, it's a hard life being a miles cat. ;)

Where do I go to sign up to become one?

Helen, Helen, Helen.... how CAN you mistreat your poor, long-suffering
owners, this way? You'll make it up to them somehow, I feel sure, but
you really must put more effort into your slave duties.   =o)

And what about the Mile ferrets?  Is it hard being one of those too?

btw, I had two questions about ferrets on my RVT exam, which ticked me
off because in the state of California, ferrets are illegal.

If I believed in reincarnation, I'd want to come back as a well-loved
housecat, preferably in the household of either a poster on here or a
human of similar mindset.

It must be the equivalent of a summer vacation for the soul. "Here you go
-- after spending some grueling lifetimes learning crucial lessons, go and
take this one lifetime as a spoiled kitty, so you can relax and spend time
meditating on what you've learned. Then when you're done there, it's 'back
to school' and the learning process can resume."

That's one vacation I think I'd happily embark on! :o)
