Ladies and Gentleman  last night not that far away from where I live.  We
had some tornadoes that accompanied a super cell thunderstorm  come thru
early this morning. One was a F 3 or an F 4.  They are still pulling people
out of the rubble.  So far there are 14 dead and the death toll is rising.
Many are still missing.   About 1000  homes have been destroyed more are
being added to the list.  Power is out.  People are still missing; some have
been found up in trees.   Tractor trailers being tossed around have shut
down major roadways arteries in central Florida and slowly being cleared
from the roads.  Winds were estimated between 150 to 200 mph in some areas.
It is a real mess folks

Off course we have the idiots that are looting and doing other stupid
things.  Luckily Police are on the scene doing the best they can.

I am asking for some purrs and prayers for these folks and of course for the
four legs that are easily forgotten in these times.

There is already a story being spread of a family dog warning its elderly
masters.  They had enough time to grab the dog and get under the bed and
hold on praying for the best.

Storms of this magnitude have been hitting central Florida since Christmas
day when we had other killer tornadoes come thru.  They destroyed many homes
and wrecked habit through out central Florida.  The expect the conditions to
remain due to El Nino weather patterns.

I am ok  it was on the other side of Volusia county about 15 minutes drive
away but the storms have effected the surrounding areas.  I got some knocked
over trees and tossed around outside items but so far so good  knock on
wood.

We shall most certainly send purrs and prayers for the people and animals
in the path of the storms.  This is a terrible experience for everyone.

I'm glad you're okay, and everyone else who has checked in so far.

Purrs for all those affected, especially those lost to their families.
