Just now turned on the TV and saw what awful storms hit the state last night. I'm still trying to get in touch with my sister. She should be fine in Sarasota, but I'm not exactly sure where around Orlando her daughter and grandchildren live. So we are purring strongly for Florida residents. And would those of you who live in Florida check in? We worry. Jo I am ok Jo the storms hit about a 15 minute drive away near a town called Deland. Lady lake and Paisley got hit hard also. Orlando is about 40 minutes drive from my house about an hour from Deland. The damage goes from Lady lake all the way out to near Daytona Beach I sent another post asking for purrs and prayers for these folks. Some people are not into work because of damage but nothing serious (although the guy who had a tree fall on his fairly new truck probably thinks it's serious) I'm fine, no damage, spent some time in the pantry with some very upset kitties who didn't like being in their carrier for two hours. I am a lurker who lives in Boca Raton, FL. Kitty Schottland, Lilith Kitten-Mahoney, Sheriff Rosco P. Catrane, and I are all okay.
