She's such a little social butterfly! It reminds me how you first
found her, following people around, looking for attention. She is a
wonderful little creature.

I have a baby lock on the cabinet under the sink, because I keep rolls
of kitchen towels there, and Miranda has been known to shred a roll or
two all over the floor. There's also a hole in the wall inside the
cabinet, and I don't know how far it goes. But every now and then a cat
sneaks inside the cabinet and into the hole before I can stop them.
Fortunately, they never stay there very long. I don't think the hole can
lead anywhere far. The first times this happened, I had scary visions of
the cats getting trapped somewhere in the wall of the building (I live
in a block of flats), and how would I find them and get them out of
there? But they always come out soon, so I don't think it opens to some
sort of tunnel, it's just a hole.

When John moved in, there was a hole in the wall under the kitchen
sink, and a small and determined cat could easily climb through into
the next apartment - he was fostering a bunch of kittens, and he kept
waking up in the morning with one extra, because the kitten next door
was lonely! That hole's closed off now, which is a good thing because
otherwise I don't think we'd ever see Tessica again once she found it!
All she can do now is to climb into the space behind the kitchen
cabinet, but she comes out fairly quickly because there's nothing in
there and nowhere to go!

Aww, so cute. So enthusiastic!
