Here I was, sitting at the computer with Licky curled up on the desk,
purring so hard he was creaking. He can be so cuddly when he's in the
mood.
Suddenly there was a noise in the room, which scared the ever-livin'
cr*p out of him, and he bolted, kicking my glass of water and spilling
it all over the desk.
Now he's sitting right outside my office door, glaring at me balefully.
I cooed, I apologized, I sweet-talked him - all to no avail. I clearly
had tricked him by lulling him with pets and kisses, only to perpetrate
some form of evil and menacing noise on him!
To tell you the truth, I have no idea what caused that noise. I just
assumed it was Roxy jumping onto something, but she never came into
the room, so maybe it was a ghost.

Aww, poor Licky. *Of course* it's your fault.

But not on the keyboard? Like spilled coffee brought down the plane in
"Mo Highway in the Sky".

I should have said that he kicked my glass of water and water *sloshed*
all over the place. The glass didn't actually fall over. Hooray for short,
squat glasses! :)
Never heard of "Mo Highway in the Sky" - is that a movie?

Of course it's your fault. Now go apologize to Licky. Perhaps Fancy Feast?
