Some of my eleven had a bonanza day recently: I had to clean up the
remains of at least three birds, two mice or voles, one shrew
(uneaten), and something dark and about the size of a chipmunk
(judging by the unidentifiable chunks of fur and other debris).
That's just the stuff they brought inside - the smart ones eat outside
so they have a chance of keeping their kill away from larger, but
unsuccessful, cats.

BF ate his birdie outside - he's beginning to learn I don't like him to
catch birds. Unfortunately, he left a wing and a lot of feathers..so I knew
what he did.
He only brought the rodents into the house to show me. Clever boy.
Now I have to work on (and have no idea how to) DO NOT CATCH BIRDS. Get the
rats.
I'm a birdwatcher and dog person who has been overtaken by determined
kitties.
Powerless.
