That's exactly what Boyfie's tail is like when he approaches me, that curl
at the tip.  I wish I knew tail language!

In Ketzl's case it means "I think enough of you -- well, nearly enough -- to
allow you to adulate me. But I WILL tell you when to stop.

Well, I know some tail language, and that tail says 'I am a happy cat
and I like you. Hello.'

It's all about the sound. The first time I played it, I had the
speakers turned off, and I was like, huh? A cat walking across
the grass... then I played it again with the sound. The innocent
little walk looked more menacing with the Jaws-like soundtrack. :)
And what a cute little "mew" at the end!

Oh cute! I just watched it, but I don't have any speakers so I missed
that bit.

Yeah, the "mew" is the real laugh getter.

There are/were several Christmas recordings by the "Jingle
Cats".  An enterprising sound engineer followed his cats
around with a microphone, recording their meows, then put
them together to produce familiar carols "sung" by cats. (I
especially like the "Silent Night", which was done in
harmony.)  But the first time I played the tape I bought, I
had cats all over the stereo speakers, trying to find those
strange felines!
