I went to raid the fridge a while ago (Pepperettes and Chips). I was being
followed at a distance by a couple of moochers (Smokey and Cleo) as I
returned to my desk. Just as I went to sit down, I looked between my legs to
notice I had a tail. I remember thinking this was odd, I didn't have a tail
when I got up this morning? After a few nano seconds the brain rebooted and
I realized it was Cleo's tail. I guess I was surprised because I had not
heard her coming or heard her jump up on the chair.  :-)

Anyone else grown any Kitty parts today?

Not exactly the same, but on occasion I have a problem distinguishing
Ketzl from my undershorts.

They're gray and white (the undershorts; I bought a mess of them on
sale a while ago) and so is Ketzl. When I shower in the morning I often
drop my shorts on the bathroom floor (I know; it's crass. I pick them
up when I'm done.) and coming out of the shower I have spoken to them
more than once, thinking they were Ketzl, come in to see what's up in
the shower.

That's not the worst of it, though. The worst (painful, actually) was
the time, in the semi-dark, I picked Ketzl up from where he was curled
on the bed and nearly tried to "step into him", thinking he was my
undershorts.

My first thought was more soap. :-)

OK, makes sense now. I can relate, being somewhat blind without my glasses.

Ooh, can't imagine Cleo underwear. Painful. :-)

I once stroked one of Dave's shoes thinking it was Dunzi (I wasn't wearing my
glasses, it was dark, the shoe was black and about the right size)

I grew a white kitty stomach blemish, when I woke up this morning.  Pua was
sprawled out on my belly while I slept in my recliner.  She's never laid on
me like that before!  It was rather nice and I hated to wake her, but, dang
it, I had to pee!  :~)

Having a cat sit on your bladder probably didn't help matters.
