Well firstly, the Bedroom Rush.
We have the aircon on in our room at night, which means all cats have to get
the boot out first, as aircon + cat litter + small bedroom = very very
nasty. And the small ones would get cold. So first thing in the morning,
they all wait outside the door. At least seven of them. And all pile in the
minute the door is cracked open. I mean, it's not exactly hot in the
morning, it seems they just *have* to rush in, inspect everything, test the
mattress, give the laundry basket a few good scratches, open the cupboards
and check everything out. What do they think, that we're going to play
'Changing Rooms' on them one night, and they'll come in to find we've
painted everything fuschia, and nailed faux antique dinnerware to the the
wall in geometric patterns? Sheesh!! Second weird cat behaviour of today
comes from Tahzha, who is currently running frantically around the room
carrying a small stuffed dolphin in her mouth and doing the special 'kitten
calling meow.' It seems she is suffering empty nest syndrom. Normally this
is approached by dragging your struggling kittens into impractically high
cupboards, and repeating this indefinitely as they escape until you give up
out of exhaustion. Maybe the stuffed dolphin doesn't struggle quite so
much.....she looks quite silly though. :) Cuteness moment of the day; being
cuddled by six flame point siamese kittens of various sizes when I lay down
for a nap with the boys :)

Only a few at the moment on the website;
www.pacificsiamese.bravehost.com they are all bigger now of course, I have
been lazy and not put any new piccies up for *ages*!!! The big ones are
around 6 months and all going off to new homes, and the bitties are just 7
weeks and rushing around like mad things. Oh, and chewing hoomins. The best
thing for a teething kitten is a big toe, apparently.

Ooooh, a basket of kitties! For some reason, they look more like a basket
of tulips to me.

I suspect that it probably took several tries to get all of them to
stay in the basket long enough for their picture to be taken.
