Mean sister

More and more, I'm beginning to suspect that Mir is a mean big sister
(and maybe studying to be an evil genius in future) posing as a sweet
little catgirl. Just now, I heard a loud bang as the door to the sauna
was pushed shut. Nothing special about that, Mir often shuts that door,
why I don't know. It seems a bit counter-productive, because the cats'
litterboxes are in the sauna. There's a wide crack beneath the door,
though, so at least Miranda could squeeze underneath it if the door was
shut while I was out.

But then I went into the bathroom and just happened to glance through
the glass door to the sauna. Caliban was in there and looking absolutely
shocked! Poor baby, his mean big sister shut him in! He looked so scared
and lonesome.

I'm not going to let Mir's sweetie act fool me no more!

You have to watch for that sweet little cat-girl act. Boots has DH
fooled but not me. She is the tiniest of the bunch, but she rules this
place with an iron paw.

LOL! Sherry, this same thing goes on in our house.  Lacey knows exactly who
blindly adores her and she uses that to her advantage.  She'll chase
Barnabus across the house then when they reach a wall he turns around to
chase her and she hisses at him and bobs his ears.  DH fusses at Barnabus.
Then Lacey jumps on Rusty's lap and starts headbutting him as I try to
defend Barnabus. I remind him that she is a juvenile delinquent and he tells
me she's the sweetest baby in the world and then starts baby talking to her.
Bah! Then to top it off she turns her head to me and gives me a surly look.
lol! She knows exactly what she's doing.

Oh no, that's worrisome! What if she shuts him in when you're gone for
the day? Maybe you need a door-stopper?

Purrs for scared, lonesome Caliban.

ROFL! I guess you should tape a little foam on there so that nobody
gets trapped.

Aww.  Poor Cal.  Probably wondering what he had done to deserve such
treatment!

Awww - poor Caliban.  He sounds good natured enough not to take it too
seriously though!

Dear Auntie Marina,
Miranda ornt no mean sister. We were going to let Caliban out I
promise....errrr, I mean she was going to let Caliban out. Its just that he
was teasing us...I mean he was teasing her. He was pulling her tail and
singing silly songs about k-i-s-s-i-n-g and we weren't kissing, I
mean...ummm...<blush>

Really, Auntie Marina, my WinkWink Miranda is a good sister. She lets
Caliban sleep next to her and get warm and everything. Her feelings are hurt
cos you say she's mean. She's tried to give you a headbutt several times
since then to tell you she's a sweetie. Won't you give her ears a scritch so
she'll know you didn't mean it.

Barnabus
Worried about his winkwink

Don't worry, Barnabus. Ten minutes later I was cooing at 'my sweet,
beautiful little girl.' That's how firmly she has me wrapped around her
little silken paw. I can't stay mad at her, and she has been thoroughly
scritched several times by now.

I don't think Caliban was very scared, that's just what he looks like,
basically, with his big eyes and innocent face. At least that's what he
wanted me to say. He also said to tell you to behave when you visit
Miranda, or else. I told him it's rude to say things like that to your
guests. He says you're not *his* guest, so he can say what he wants.

I'm not going to comment on the k-i-s-s-i-n-g or anything else that goes
on between you two. You're young, but old enough, and you have both been
snipped, so as long as you both enjoy yourselves, it's alright with me.
