When I got up this morning there was dark coloured and white stuff all over
the kitchen floor. It's still dark when I have to get up for work and it
takes quite a few minutes for my eyes to adjust when I put the light on. I
can "sort of" see but not properly for maybe about 10 minutes.
I thought maybe it was feathers from a birdie that Boyfie might have sneaked
up on in the night. Sometimes he's not very sporting about leaving them
alone when they are asleep :-(
It was not feathers, it was cat fur, and rather a lot of it.
At first I wondered if he might have finally got fed up with Kitty's
grumpiness and had a skirmish - was it her fur?
No, it was his.
He was sitting on his own, sort of sulking, didn't greet me as normal. He
was very put out. He went into cello position which made me think he has a
hurtie there (particularly as his breakfast was about to be served..)
It's obvious by his behaviour "who dunnit." He won't look at KFC, shies
away from her and when they both went upstairs to get on the spare bed this
morning there was an ominous wowling and growling coming from Kitty directed
towards him.
I think he should withhold any further collared doves from her immediately.
Ah, she doesn't deserve him! She treats him so badly..and yet I know he
will carry on being nice to her.
Boyfriend is a real saint with her. He is now suffering domestic violence
and requests some purrs to stop him wanting to bop her back round the head,
thanks.

I hope so! She weighs around 4lbs and is 20 plus years old. Boyfie is
maturing nicely at around 10 lbs and is 4, nearly 5. He could annihilate
her if he wanted to. It says a lot for his temperament that he tolerates
the awful treatment he gets from her. He just shrugs and disappears down
the garden. Mostly. I've seen him swipe her round the head twice, but she
truly deserved it both times.

I hate to advocate more violence, but I think this might be one of those
times when she truly deserves it. Maybe if he wasn't quite such a
gentleman and gave her a good bopping from time to time, she wouldn't
take advantage of him so much.
But he probably won't... poor Boyfie!

Boyfie
Kitty is very old now. There is not much doubt that she does have a touch
of kitty-dementia. She forgets where her litter box is in the next room and
uses the ash box near the fire, sometimes she doesn't even notice the ash
box and disappears behind the woodburner - providing it's not too hot!
She has not forgotten, though, that Licky the smart tuxedo man is her
wink-wink! She sends nose-kisses to him.

Kitty, I am sorry that my evil hoomin wrote that Boyfie should smak you
upside the head. I know he's too good to do that. And besides, if he did,
I'd teleport over there and smack him one!! You are not demented!! People

Dear Boyfie,
I understand exactly what you are going through. I live in a house with a
Lacey cat. I'm sitting in a sunbeam, minding my own business and she runs
up and boops me then runs off. I get up to chase her but when I get near
she turns on me and hisses and growls. Sometimes she jumps me and rolls me
up like a rolypoly bug. She does this with Hobbes as well. She's buddies
with Sam and when I asked him what was her problem he said her whore moans
because its out of whack. I'd like to whack her whore until it moans and
then maybe she'd finally quit being so witchy.
Don't run away from home. You have a Meowmy who lurvs ya and ya might not be
able to find another one of those. There are a lot of bad Meowny's in the
world and sometimes it takes awhile to find a good one. I think if I were
you I'd catch me a collard dove, prance in front of KFC and sit down and
enjoy the bird myself. Maybe you could offer her a tail feather.
<lightbulb comes on in Dr. Barnabus, Kitty Psych's brain> Boyfie, maybe
sometimes she's just angy that she can't catch her own dovies any more and
since she doesn't have anyone to blame but herself then she gets mad at you.
Maybe she thinks you're showing off. Yep, I think you should save the dovies
for yourself but maybe you should eat them outside so she doesn't know
you're still catching them.
Then again, maybe you should look for her whore and just whack it upside the
head until it stops moaning
Your holibrother, Barnabus

Aww, poor Boyfie! Explain to him that KFC may be a bit senile and not
remember how good he is to her. This sometimes happens with the very
elderly. Purrs for Boyfie to put up with it all.

Poor little guy. Their behavior sounds very like a pair of parakeets we
once had. The poor male gave meaning to the term henpecked. He did
everything in his power to keep the female happy. And there was no pleasing
her.
