I have 2769 unread, hugs and purrs for anyone who needs them that I have
missed.
Going to work interferes with reading rpca.
However, all the purrs you sent in 2005 for my recovery from ov ca worked,
up to now.  I am working 5 days/week now, thank you all so much.
I firmly believe that the purrs worked.
Ovarian cancer is one of the worst you can have.  I was told that I would
probably die.   Then I got the purrs.  They did the trick, I recovered
against all odds.
Purrs are really awesome.  I just need a few more for 15 Feb when they zip
me up properly.

An HRFL Tiger is particularly glad that Kitty Farm Cat is unlikely to be
moving in any time soon as he couldn't keep with her demand for collared
doves and he's not sure he'd be popular with the bloke over the road if
he stole one of his prime expensive racing pigeons instead. ;)

<g> no, that might prove fatal.

I'm a bit glad myself.  Not only because it means I am still alive! but she
is not an easy cat at all.  I wouldn't want to inflict her on you.
However!!   Another op on 15 Feb.  I have no reason to think I won't be
perfectly okay, but just in case - Helen, prepare for KFC.  Deb, prepare for
Boyfriend.
It just eases my mind to know they have somewhere to go.
I'm not being morbid, just realistic.  No-one in my (small) family would be
able to take them if anything happened to me.
Of course I will be fine.  I just need to know that my cats will have a home
on the offchance that I'm not.
Yes, I know I will be perfectly okay after a recovery period.
But, just in case something bad happens and I die, will Helen and Debbie be
sure to liaise with my cousin margieatmaildotcom to get my kitties.

The offer stands for as long as you need peace of mind... Boyfie is
welcome to come and enjoy the woodland and greenery here, in the
*highly* unlikely event it becomes necessary.

Thanks Debbie.  I'm pretty sure it won't be necessary too but I would be
failing as a meowmie if I didn't have all eventualities covered ;-)
My cousin Margi who was the go-between when I was in hospital last time will
be in Australia so I will ask her parents (my uncle and aunt) to get in
touch via email to let you know I am okay.  I will be staying with them for
a few days after I come out of hospital.   The email address will include
the words" palmer" and "bryan" - not necessarily in that order!

KFC has a space in the Miles household should she ever need it. Not that
she will do. :) And if she did, she'd have to put up with HRFL's
grousing!

Thanks, Helen.  I'm sure I'll be all right, but I just need to have things
covered.
Besides, I want to look after her myself - it's sort of a self-flagellation
thing now!  No, I'm just joking, but she is certainly a lot of work now she
is in her 20's.  I would hesitate to ask anyone to take her on.
She rarely goes outside now, and requires a litter box downstairs and
upstairs.  The downstairs one she will pee in but she needs more privacy to
poo.  She will sometimes absolutely race up the stairs when the urge takes
her.  Other times she will disappear behind the woodburner with intent.

Her renal problems don't seem to be causing much difficulty except that she
needs to drink a lot and consequently wets a lot of litter.  Her widdling
box needs to be given frequent attention.  Her appetite is not affected up
to now, thank Bast.  She is a very small cat and is now frail.

Nüle and I were talking (or rather emailing the other day) about this.  She
said "when I first saw Kitty I thought she was a dying cat."  That was in
2003.
She is up on the kitchen table as we speak where she knows she shouldn't be
and saying "Yeah? You will stop me exactly how?"
I don't feel inclined to argue.  It's her feistiness that has kept her going
throughout her quite difficult life.  Life's not easy when you leave home
and only weigh 4 lbs and choose to live feral for years.
If she was a person and had faced these sort of odds and survived through it
she would probably have gained some sort of award.
But alas, she is a cat. There is no prize for brave cats except the hope
that one day they will find their onetruehome.  If anycat deserves it, she
does and she finally found it here.  She insisted.
She's a grumpy old *2£$%** but I can't help loving her.  What a cat she is.
So small but up for everything.

I doubt she will notice HRFL's grousing.
She will check out all the facilities, find the warmest spot, claim it and
snooze.  Her ears will be closed to grousing.  If he insists, she might
raise from her bed and bop his ears, big time.
No big cat can stand up to KFC.  Not Boyfie, not "the Enemy" a big black cat
from two doors away.  He came in the house once to bully Boyfie.  He'd been
bullying him outside so he thought it a good idea to come into Boyfie's
house to carry it on.
Until he met Kitty Farmcat.  He came in the night to be nasty to Boyfie, I
was woken up by cat screams.  I got up and went downstairs to see what was
going on.    Kitty was chasing The Enemy up the walls of the kitchen.  He
was terrified.  He is twice her size but he ran away as soon as he could
find the way out.
We sometimes see him crossing the garden to go somewhere else.  That's fine.
That was the last time he ever dared to come after Boyfie.  They seem to try
and avoid each other now.   Enemy is out, Boyfie is in.   Boyfie is out,
Enemy is in.  Seems they have come to an agreement.

For what it's worth, I envy you at least a little for the February surgery.
I didn't get reassembled quite right last time either, but I'm in no shape
to open up for repairs.

But the scars have faded and I'm still up and at em.  Headed to the park to
toss the ball for Kayla.

You new candle is all ready, but I know you will be fine with all the purrs
you have going with you.
