I am the meowmie I tell them. I have he flu I tell them. I tell them how sweet it is they all want to lay on my chest at one time to watch me heal but that it is counterproductive as I can't breathe. They lay there and watch me turn blue. I tell them that if I die there won't be anyone around to feed them. Mattie gets off my chest. She is very fond of regular food and hasn't figured out how to get into the bag of cat food on hand for when I get sick.
