This had me cracking up.  The postman/woman put someone's magazine in my
mailbox by mistake.  I'm at 7040, she's at 7004.  Easy enough mistake if
you're in a hurry.  Then I noticed the woman's last name.  McGlown.  Oh you
have *got* to be kidding me!  LOL  I took the magazine to her and we both
had a good laugh over the incredibly weird dual mix-up! :D

I suspect you two should get prepared to receive one another's mail
more often.

I get "Mary Fletcher's" mail every couple months.

The post office has done some odd things to me in the past.  16 years ago I
was living someplace else.  A friend of mine, who didn't even live within a
couple of streets of me and whose name was absolutely nothing like mine got
one of my letters in her mailbox.  It was rather bizarre.

Then there was the time I mailed a postcard to a friend in Boston.
Apparently I didn't address it correctly (wrong zip, maybe).  Her brother
worked at the post office.  It was going to be dumped in the dead letter
file because I didn't put my return address on the postcard.  Her brother
just happened to see it and delivered it to her.

I often get other people's mail in my box.  Sometimes it's the people across
the street or next door.  Sometimes it's down the block, or even on another
street.  So you can imagine my surprise when I got the first bank statement
from a new bank, addressed to me, but with the street written as "Dubsnire"
instead of "Dinsmore".  I was impressed!

Oh, that's an easy one, Joyce.  It's just one key to the left with the right
hand!
A friend of mine used to live at a house called  "The Pightle"
She often used to get mail addressed to "The Pighole"   !!
