This morning was cool but not so cool that I needed to light the fire when I
got up. Once everyone had been fed and outside and back inside I started to
nod off on the couch as I often do. I was barefoot and my feet started to
get cold. There was a sweater on the sofa that I wore yesterday that Jake
just loves. I have to make sure I have a couple of layers under it because
he goes crazy working on it with his claws.
So I threw the sweater over my cold toes. Kayla was having her morning nap
on the other end of the sofa and her cold toes were under the sweater as
well. She likes sleeping there with just her feet touching mine.
When I woke up, there were three of us. Jake decided to take a nap on his
sweater and I guess figured since both Kayla and I were asleep to take a
chance on it.
And to think the little fraud tries to convince his daddy he is afraid of
the dog.

Heh. The "little fraud" is a master manipulator. Bast would be proud.
(Jo, I thought about Kayla this morning. I've been whining because the
treadmill is so boring. He got on the tractor and mowed me a walking
path, about 2 miles. Even got his old Boy Scout staff out of storage in
case I have to whack the too-friendly bull in the pasture. Now I have
no excuse not to walk. But now I need a dog!)
