Well, it's been an interesting few months. My broadband provider turned
into a complete nightmare and refused to fix the technical fault that
*THEY* caused on my line because they were incompetent idiots, and after
much yelling, threatening of legal action (from me) and various other
shenanigans I have finally managed to change my provider and should be
up and running again next week. Phew. You don't realise how much you
miss the internet and how much you rely on it until you lose it. In the
meantime, I'm using a wireless broadband on my laptop via a friend, so
at least I now have limited access!
Purrs and prayers to all who need them, and concatulations where they
are deserved.
On the fur family front, well a lot has happened....(sort of)
Robbies beanbag arrived from the USA in Oct as my mom sent it home for
him. I placed it in front of the radiator where it was immediately
claimed by Pandora. She has velcroed herself to it and hasn't moved
since. So I went shopping for another beanbag for Robbie, and found a
very nice cat fleecy chair hammock instead. Miss Lily Whiskers promptly
claimed that and she shares it with HRFL Tiger. Cleo has her £70 Ikea
rocking chair that I have sat on I think twice in 3 years, and HRFL has
his large armchair. So, bedless, Robbie has claimed my sofa!
Gertie and Barney the ferrets are well, if a bit fed up of all the wet
weather as it means they are confined to their cage.
Lily has developed a passion for earthworm hunting and not a day goes by
when I don't find at least 3 on the kitchen floor. She has also
developed the habit of taking a shower with me every morning.
Robbie is now 11 and off to TED next week for a full geriatric profile
and exam, and Pandoras leg is pretty much on the mend - when she gets ou
of bed long enough to walk on it!
HRFL Tiger is in rude health and caught himself a rat yesterday - I
didn't appreciate being woken at 3am by him telling me about said rat
though!
School is going well, in all senses of the word although some of the
children I have to teach are way more than challenging.
So, that's pretty much it - I managed to get all the xmas cards away,
although a few of you may have a couple of straggly cards arrive as I
dropped them as I went out the door and they're sitting non the mantel
piece to go to the post office...
