No, really, not today. Today is not a day to have a migraine so please,
m-thing, go away.

Got to get up to Nottingham this evening, get the glad rags on and attend
the CTT Champions' Night, as Nathan is getting some sort of award. It's a
formal event - dinner, presentations, dance affair. And I have a so**ing
migraine. Vernon can drive up there if the m-thing doesn't leave, but I
really, really am not looking forward to sitting through all of this with a
migraine, pain, noise & light sensitivity, visual disturbanaces and nausea.
I really do want to see my son get his award.

*Huge* congratulations to your Nathan for his award.  I hope the
m-grain faries get bored with you and go away in good time for you to
get glammed up and enjoy the evening, basking in the well-deserved
praise directed to your amazing son.

Lots of purrs that the m-thing leaves asap, and you're able to enjoy
Nathan's big night.

Very quiet, very still purrs on the way.  On second thought I think I'll
just ask them to meditate.

I usually found my migraines tended to either go away at sunset or at least
get milder.  So let him drive, close your eyes so the lights don't aggravate
it and think quiet thoughts.

I always seemed to have very cold hands when I had a migraine, and found
that warming my hands helped some too.

My migraines stopped when I had my hysterectomy.

Anti-migraine purrs are on the way.

Thankfully the m-thing went. Just in time for me to get the glad rags on and
enmjoy the evening. The maternal bazoomas heaved to a 9.5 on the Richter
Scale as Nathan was called to receive his award and he walked on stage with
a huge picture of him in full flow on a time trial was on screen. It was one
of those moments I'll never forget. The purrs did the tick!

Good deal!  I was wondering if you went to the event.  Thanks for the
update.

I so glad the purrs worked. Congratulations to Nathan. Would it be possible
for you to post a copy of that picture online somewhere?

Thanks. Haven't got access top the actual pic used, but there's quite a few
of Nathan online here & there. There's this one:-

Hope the URL works! MArk Cozens does excellent photography.

He's got a new skinsuit now - a white & black one, which looks better than
the yellow one.

And he's on a DVD :-)

The governing body, CTT produces a DVD of major events throughout the year
and Nathan is on the DVD of 2006, in 2 rounds of the Rudy Project Series.

You, Vernon and the clowder have raised him well. No wonder you're proud of
him.

Why thank you. All compliments gratefully accepted :-) He's a good lad. He's
certainly more human and together than I was at that age!

I could not possibly improve on this sentence. What a great image! :)

So glad you're feeling better, and that you got to go and enjoy Nathan's
wonderful moment. Congrats to him, and you!

I really hope all went well for you, Helen. Migraines are the worst.
Congrats to Nathan!
