You know you don't want to open an email with the subject line of I'm
glad you got to meet Honey Bear."

A friend had a sweet boy cat of 23 years. His name was Honey Bear, and
he had been with her for the long haul. I met him when I was helping
her organize her house last week.

This morning, she found him, with broken ribs and a bad cut on one
leg. When she took him to the vet, they discovered some malignant
tumors as well.

She made the hard choice and helped him go to the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sad over his passing, as I'm sure she is. Purrs to help her
through this would certainly be appreciated.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Many purrs to your friend. How sad. It's so very hard when you have
spent such a long time with a cat.

Purrs for those who grieve.   MLB

Does your friend have any idea what caused the injuries?

She hasn't said so, so I don't know.

Oh, that is a sad story! (But, it would be nice to meet a 23 year old
kitty).

But how wonderful to have shared your life with a beloved kitty for 23
years!

I have lit a candle to help Honey Bear to the Bridge. And purrs for his
grieving human.

I'm sorry to hear this! It must be very hard to let go of a kitty
friend she's had for so long. But it's also great that she did get
to have all those years with him. Twenty-three - that's impressive.

Purrs for you, your friend, and Honey Bear.

Oh my goodness. How very sad. Wow 23! That is an amazing age, but I'm
so sorry that he was injured. Purrs for your friend.

Oh dear, how sad. She did very well getting him to 23 though. Purrs for her
to grieve for him well, and remember him with happiness.

Honey Bear and your friend lived a long time together, but that doesn't
make it any easier.
Lots and lots of purrs,
