He's in the hospital. When he was visiting last week he mentioned sometimes
feeling short of breath (close your dirty minds!) but then he always said
he'd feel better. Turned out he couldn't get a prescription for a dieuretic
refilled while he was in NY dealing with some stuff from his mom's house...
well, he could have. But they'd told him it would be 30 minutes. He stood
in a line (you can only imagine right before Christmas at WalMart) for an
hour after the 30 minutes only to find out oh, gee, they hadn't gotten to it
yet.
This prescription is to keep fluid build-up around his heart, but he didn't
realize that. He had quintuple bypass surgery 4 years ago and this pill is
very important. So now he's in the hospital. Luckily he got there before
it turned into a full-blown heart attack. He's feeling much better and
should be able to go home tomorrow. But some purrs are still requested.
Thanks in advance. And a safe and happy new year to everyone.

Thanks so much, kili. I'll give him your best. Thanks to everyone for the
purrs. I know they will help immensely. His "fluffy" cat Kidder probably
misses him, too! And Peppy (the peppy pup) and Shante, who is a horse of a
dog.

I'm sure they'll be happy to get their daddy back.

That must have been quite a scare for both of you. I hope he will be home

Wow, that's lucky they caught that early. I'll be sending purrs for
him.

John was discharged from the hospital today. Last night they were a bit
concerned about his blood pressure but they got it back to normal levels.
He called when he got home and said he feels much better. He sounded very
tired but at least he's back home. Thanks for the purrs, they worked!

They didn't find any evidence of that. He didn't actually have a heart
attack but the fluid build-up added pressure to his chest.
