It rained most of the night here and the fog is thick this morning. Billy
came in a while ago carrying a soaking wet, dead chipmunk, and for the last
half-hour or so he's been tossing it around so violently that he has finally
had to take a rest.
At the moment he's laying near my feet clutching his prey and panting like a
dog! I feel sorry about the chipmunk but this has been just about the most
hilarious display of cat acrobatics that I've ever seen.
Billy, by the way, is now larger than Baby Eyes (who is bigger than
Abelard). And his sister Lily is not far behind in size.
I just don't know about this cat!... Yesterday he was tearing around like a
dervish in the herd of horses that lives behind my house. I half-expected to
see him wrap himself around a pastern and start bunny-kicking.

What an amazing hunter! (I'm with you though, Id feel bad for chipmunk!)
I still can't believe how big he is. What is he, probably 6 months old or so?
He's going to be huge. Sounds like he's a real character.

Yes, he will be huge. And absolutely gorgeous. Same goes for Lily. I can't
believe anyone would have discarded these wonderful precious babies. I am so
fortunate to have been able to adopt them and am growing to love them more
with every passing day.

(trying to wipe the huge grin off my face)
They're the lucky ones, Pat.
