Actually, sort of a no-news report. It will be this afternoon before I
get any news. My TED is a one-TED clinic, so Rocky is having to be
fitted in around regular appointments. Actually, that makes me feel a
little better, since Dr Haney agreed with me that Rocky isn't in pain.
I didn't think he was in pain, but feel a little better hearing that
he agreed with me.
Dr Haney agreed with my observations about where Rocky's feeling
stops. They're going to get take xrays to see if there are any broken
bones. If there's nothing broken we'll try some injections to try to
reduce any swelling. Dr Haney didn't want to say what the chances were
for recovery, but when I pressed him he didn't hold out much hope.
Meanwhile, the whole episode has the girls upset. Sammy wanted to see
what was wrong, but I didn't want her bothering him. For some reason
LB is upset and has been hissing at Sammy all night. The change in
routine may have contributed to LB's upset, since she hates to have
her routine changed.

Thank you for taking the time to update us Steve. We've had miracles before,
and we're purring up a storm for another one.

How frustrating not to know more, but maybe it's a good sign that TED
doesn't see the need to rush Rocky's treatment. Many purrs for all of
you and especially calming purrs to the girls. Please keep us updated.

Purrs and more purrs headed your way. I hope it's nothing more than perhaps
a pinched nerve or something like that.

We'll keep purring. Don't be discouraged, from what I've read, cats can
have a good life even after accidents leave them with no movement in
their rear. They actually sell devices to help them move around.

We are sending purrs and gentle headbutts four times over for Rocky.
Sam wants to make sure that Rocky knows that one stray ex-tom to another
he is sending his most sincere purrs and expects to be able to explore
the Mouser next year with Rocky showing him the ropes.
Hugs and calming thoughts to you and the girls as well, Steve. Thanks
for keeping us posted. We'll be on pins and needles until your next post.

SO sorry to learn this, Steve. All the purrs in the world that it's an
injury that can be corrected by surgery (or something less serious of
course).
Best wishes

Same here. I was praying in the middle of the night for Rocky. Please hang
in there. Sometimes it can take a while for swelling to go down from an
injury.

happen. Sending lots of healing purrs and keeping everything crossed.
