I'm amazed that La Nox allowed you to place a Santa hat on her!

I'm not dead!  I went away for 3 days on holiday and sure enough, now
that I'm back, I have a giant lap nox and all is forgiven.

There's a reason I took those pics only a few hours before we left.  :)

I loved the pics, especially the last one of Nox and her "evil"
expression! If she gave me that look, I would be saying, "yes, your
highness, whatever you say!"

Have a wonderful Christmas, if Nox will let you! <g>

That's my favourite too!  Favorite even - (but that looks so wrong for a
Brit..)
As the group is predominantly American should I try and spell in the
American way in my posts?  I'm happy to try, not sure if I'll be good at it
though ;-)

I wouldn't worry about it.  I sometimes deliberately use Brit spelling when
I'm posting in response to a Brit, but the usual is to use your normal
spelling, whatever that may be.

Goodness, no! Be yourself - spell words in the way that looks right
to you. It's not like you're living in the US and working for an
American company, where your writing would be expected to conform to
local standards. We're an international group here. And even if the
majority of us are from the US, that doesn't mean we set the spelling
standards. :)

Most certainly not!  I for one just love the differences in spelling and
word usage in an international group.  I like the British words and spelling
and would use them myself if I could get away with it.  But from an American
it would look like some sort of affectation.
