Caliban, who was stretched out. Here's a picture that shows the

I think that's true in most households where there is a boy and a girl cat,
Snoopy is definately the boss here. ;o)

Awww he's such a big cuddly boy; like Congo except brown tabby instead of
red tabby....I love Miranda, she's so sleek and elegant, and such a lovely
colour :)

They are both so smooth and sleek and Caliban is so shiny! What a
difference in size!

I've petted a lot of cats in my life, but I've never felt fur like
Caliban's. It's so very smooth and sleek. I call him my little seal
because of it (and his body, which is like a seal's body ;) ).

What kind of birds do you have in the winter?

I was reminded of what you told me about Otis and Chester. So I'm
expecting Marina to tell me now that even though they have such
different body types, Caliban and Miranda are actually exactly the
same weight. :)

Heh, not likely. The last time I had them weighed, Mir was 3.2 kilos and
Caliban was 5.4. I suspect he weighs even more now.

The one that usually comes to eat from the suet ball in my garden is a
great tit. Sometimes a sparrow or two comes and grazes the bread I throw
on the ground. I haven't really seen other birds in the garden. Usually,
bullfinches are associated with Xmas around here, but I haven't seen any.
Then there is the odd crow or magpie that comes fluttering into the
garden. When the cats see those, their eyes go big and round and they
stop ack-ack-acking. ;)

They're so cute and so close! Miranda is a statuette. Caliban's
haunches are so wonderfully meaty and well patterned.

Wow! All along I thought it was just that Caliban was much fatter than
Mere. And that might be true, but also, he's just a lot *bigger* in all
ways. He's taller. He's longer. His head is huge compared to hers. He's
just a big guy! (Or else she's a tiny girl...)
They're both very sleek-looking and make an excellent pair!

Thanks, I think they look pretty happy and healthy in general. :) I'd
say Caliban is fairly average as boycats go. My sister's cat Linus and
Mir's half-uncle Kasper are certainly larger than him. But Mir is indeed
tiny. I always seem to end up with tiny girls - Nikki was also tiny. Now
that I think of it, all the girl cats in my extended family are
smallish, while the boys tend to be large. But we've had larger female
cats in my family before.

They are so cute! Soncek is very interested in the birdies he sees
through the window too.
