Hi Marina,
I was trolling through the New Scientist web site today and came
across this article on the cause of type 1 diabetes. It sounds very
exciting - both in terms of preventing occurance in young children and
in perhaps curing existing T1 diabetes.

The black-and-white lump on my shoulder is purring in your general
direction.

This is the third group I've read about this on. I just soooo hope there is
something to this!

Thanks for the link, Tish, this is certainly interesting. I do have
impaired sensory nerve function, but it has been developing for the past
20 years or so. Just one injection every couple of years or so? I could
live with that! :) (Currently taking five injections a day.)
