My Baby Eyes seems to think all the other cats in this house are her own
litter of kittens. A bunch of them gather into a pile around her to be
washed. When she's working on one, others will push their heads toward hers
insistently, and she will try to accommodate them all, switching from cat to
cat with a few licks for each one. They all have incredibly blissful facial
expressions the whole time. If I stick my face into the pile, I also get
licked. Baby Eyes is such a wonderful girl!

Cinders likes to groom me (lick, lick, lick).  She started doing this
after my other cat, Katie, had to be put to sleep, so I suspect that
she must have been in the habit of grooming Katie.  When I go to bed,
I have to remember to keep my arms under the covers.  Otherwise, she
will sometimes lick the same spot long enough to make it get sore. For
some reason, she doesn't groom my head, the only part sticking out
from under the covers.

Awwww, that's so sweet!  I sort of feel like the odd-person out since I only
have one cat, but Persia makes sure I get adequately groomed and washed.
She likes to get on the arm of the couch and run her teeth through my bangs.
She also licks my arms but only like little kitty kisses.  Of course when I
get out of the shower she has to lick the water off my legs because
according to Persia I don't know how to bathe properly!  LOL

If I put my face near Caliban when he is washing himself, he will always
wash my face for me. Such a good boy.

I am so surprised and pleased at how well your clowder has adapted to being
indoor cats.

Snoopy seems to think I'm her kitten, she woke me at 3:15 this morning
vigorously licking the top of my head and purring up a storm. It wouldn't
have been so bad if I had hair there, it still feels a little sore. I'm glad
she stopped when I stroked her. ;-)

Oh, that's so cute. It's nice to think that she thinks you're her
kitten. Bosley is getting worse. Now I think he doesn't just want to be
my cat, he wants to marry me.

I'm wondering if Snoopy is begining to get a little senile, she's nearly 17.

Tyche would like to meet her. Tyche LOVES to be licked and to find a
cat who loves to DO the licking would put her in heaven.

With us it is just the other way:-) All of our cats think, that I'm
their mother and so they gather around me *g*

Owl thinks, that I need some washing too. He prefers to lick my nose.
Unfortunately he will not stop, when the nose is clean from the
outside...

Purrs to you and your lovely cats
