thought I better introduce ourselves as I seem to not be able to return to
lurk mode.

I live with DH and six cats in a very small town of about two hundred.  I
need to say up front that I don't always get things posted correctly due to
my using a screen reader that is cantankerous at times.  I have read this
group for what seems like forever and only rarely posted until now.  I was
extraordinarily touched when Dan posted about the passing of Miss Violette
and your posts of support.  I would like to introduce the cats but am in a
quandary as to whether I should do them all in one post or do separate ones
for each of them.  Opinions welcome, Lee

Welcome to the group Lee. I too am fairly new as I have only been active for a
few months. Introduce your gang as you like, doesn't matter. Looking forward to
getting to know you better.

Dennis and I are the proud slaves to 5 furrballs:
Smokey 5yr old male black dsh - a real love bug.
Sweetpea 5yr old female brown tabby (Smokey's littermate) dsh - whiney butt.
Tippy 3yr old male b/w tuxedo dsh - A real character and the most loveable of
our adult cats.
Teddy 1 1/2 year old female calico dlh- Tippy's playmate and very sweet.
Kramer 10 week old male white with black spots dsh - the most loveable kitten I
have ever seen, a real sweetheart. He just adores Tippy.

Welcome Lee, I look forward to reading about all six of your feline
family.  I see you elsewhere around usenet when I get a chance go visit
some of my other interests, but rpca comes first. Its nice to see you
posting more here.  I have four cats: Hobbes, Lacey, Sam and Barnabus.

Yay! It's addictive, isn't it? :)

All one post would work, unless you have an unusually large number of
cats. :)

Thanks it is very addictive, now I feel guilty if I don't read every post.
I only have six cats but have lots of words to describe how they came to be
with us so I have decided it would be kinder to the reader to post about
them separately, again thanks, Lee

Introduce your owners as you wish. I've been amused over the last few months
by you popping in and out of lurk mode, i thought it was only a matter of
time before you posted more often. ;-)

Welcome, Lee.  We're not picky (usually).  Post the introductions as it
feels right.

We're just south of Seattle, Washington (USA).  Myself and DW Ramona are
supervised by Smokey (16 YO DMH solid black), Mistletoe (7YO dilute
tortie) and Scooter (16 YO LH Chihuahua).

I'm glad you decided to de-lurk completely, Lee. I have lurked on rpcc
on and off, and feel I know you and your cats already. Welcome!

I was also touched by the show of support from rpcc when my dear Frank
had to be pts. Thanks go to Dan for that, too.

your stories of the island are always enjoyable.  While Dan is a wonderful
writer his posts in no way come close to revealing the wonderful person he
is.  When we met him to give him Harri roadcat I knew he was the perfect
human for her.  Lee

Oh, wow! I don't think I ever knew who Dan had gotten Harri from. I do
remember the whole story of him driving to the place to meet you and pick
her up, but I didn't connect you with that story at all. It must be really
fun to read all the Harri stories on the newsgroup. She's a character.

yes and a wonderful cat, just perfect, unfortunately Miss Violette hated her
and Tiger was totally traumatized by her, she is yellow like him and I think
she thought at he was her mother at first as he got very indignant when she
looked for a nipple, Lee

Hi Lee,

I've seen your posts before too. Welcome! The more the merrier IMO.
