Nope, no need to call CSI.  It's not a human leg.  It's a wolf cricket (aka
cave cricket) leg.  Those ugly striped ones that BOING! all over the place.
I don't want to know what happened to the rest of the cricket.  Probably a
snack for Persia.

I'm now rinsing out the tub and then washing it with some Scrubbing Bubbles
and a stiff sponge.  Thanks for leaving me a present as well as a cleaning
chore, my sweet grey gal!

I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

EWWW!  Yes, those things live in my storage room off the patio all during
the summer months and try to come inside when the temps drop.  Aren't they
disguisting?  I leave the door to the storage room open when the weather is
nice to see if the wild birds will go in and eat them.

Persia bats them around for a bit, then usually loses interest.  But I
suspect she ate this one.  Nice of her to leave me a leg, though (NOT!)

We're having our usual fall cricket infestation. I've been finding legs all
over the house. I don't want to think about where the *rest* of the crickets
are.
