it weighs about 16 pounds, it's grey and purring... :P (and it has no
intention of moving...)

Silver must be cold. She was planted on top of my monitor so I lifted
her off (she overheats it!) and put her on my shoulder instead.
Usually she just stays for a minute or two and then runs away, but she
plonked her self down and went to sleep! It's so sweet...

Alas it's a bit hard to take a photo of your own shoulder when you're
the only one home! If Daddy's home she's all his - I only get
attention at night when he's fast asleep, and when he's at work :P

Yes! We need jpegs next time. You need to get Scouty on the other
shoulder, just to balance things out, ya know.

That crack you hear would be me hitting the floor backwards under the
combined weight of about 30 pounds of feline :P

OK, so Tessie needs to sit on your feet for stability :-)

Geez, Sherry!  You want Karen to start having back problems?  Although
some balance might be in order, at least long enough for jpegs (hint,
hint!).

At least you know it's a "benign growth" right? =o)

Yep... and temporary - when I started typing she woke up to protest
the jiggling, and she jumped down before I finished the post. More's
the pity - I was feeling all content and happy to be honoured by her
company :)

Ewwww, sounds like surgical removal would be dangerous. You should probably
just learn to live with it.  Scritch it once or twice and see if it wiggles.
