She's becoming much friendlier, but is getting pushy when it's feeding time.
She may already eating at a dish, but as soon as you put kibble in another
dish, she wants *that* kibble - I've taken to feeding her first, in the
bathroom & shutting her in, then feeding the rest.
She also loves petttins & skritchies - but still not so much on her belly.
But if you do get her belly, what she does is grab you with her teeth very
gently (no pain, you only feel the teeth), lets go quickly, then starts
licking. And licking, licking licking.....
Methinks she thinks that we are her kittens now ;) (Remember, she wasn't
spayed when we got her, and when TED spayed her, they said she had kittens
sometime in the past 6 months, but her milk was dry so they were weaned by
the time she showed up in our yard - which makes me think she was dumped one
they got rid of the kittens, since getting her spayed would cost too much -
make her become an SEP).
Either that or she enjoys the taste of hoomin fingers! Good thing we sleep
with the bedroom door closed :)
No responses from our ad in the paper. Only response from my online posting
was someone who found a similar cat, and was checking to see if we had found
the home for ours & maybe she got out again, but we still have her. I did,
however, give them the name of the people who contacted us from the shelter
who were looking for their small, squeaky, black female kitty that got out.
And she is getting better with the other cats - especially Bam-Bam, since he
won't put up with her being pushy, as he's the same way :)

She's feeling more comfortable in her new home.

I see that a lot with our four. Then there is Barnbabus who won't eat if his
bowl is within 3 feet of another eating cat. The dynamics of feeding our
cats is intricate. With Selena I had to feed her in an entirely different
room. She wouldn't eat with the others.

Thanks for the update. She seems to be settling nicely.
