Thanks, Matthew. I'm posting through Google since my newsreader isn't
letting me receive anything. I can post but not receive.

I see you! : )
How are the furry little creature(s) in your home? Mine is snoozing
her afternoon away at the moment.

Can't help with the receiving end of things, but you're coming through
fine on the German news server (individual.net). Have you taken a
peek at one of Agent's FAQs or manuals (I think they have the
downloadable kind)? In case it's not the feed itself, maybe there's a
setting that's gotten off kilter.
Who is your usual news provider? Maybe someone here uses the same one
and can say if it's working ok for them.

What do you mean by "dead" in this context?

I haven't received any posts since yesterday morning. I can post but
my newsreader server is apparently not receiving. (My own post showed
up in Agent, but none of the others.

Yes, I can see your post. I was wondering just a couple of weeks ago about
you. I'm glad you're OK.
Boyfriend continues to believe that his first love, Tortie, ran away to
become famous on the stage. I haven't told him that you thought the coyotes
got her.
He's got a new love now, another American kitty, Mimi. She is now his
wink-wink girl.

Why does this remind me of a song? "Can you hear me? Can you hear me
running can you hear me calling you?" Who did that song? Was it Mike & the
Mechanics?

Is that the song he wrote about after his father died?
How he wished he had said the things he should have
said when he had the chance.....?
That was called "In the Living Years" if that's the one
you are talking about.

No, "The Living Years" was a different song by the same
group.
Yes, the song the post refers to IS by Mike + the
Mechanics (yes, the plus sign is the way they do it),
but it's not "The Living Years." Its actual title
is "Silent Running."
(As I'm sure we all know, Mike of Mike + the
Mechanics is Mike Rutherford of Genesis.)
