Remember the little 5 week old kitten that was brought in on my first
day of employment, who promptly chomped on my finger when i weighed
her?
She was a tiny fluffball and weighed in at 0.8 lbs.
Well 2 and a half months later, i finally got to see her again.
To refresh your memory, this kitten had tested FELV positive and i gave
her to a woman who did cat rescue and who also owned 3 FELV positive
cats. Her name was Kim and she was going to keep little Bessie in
isolation for a few months until she could be retested.
Well she was rested about a week ago, and unfortunately she tested
positive again for FELV. :(
However, i'm not distressed because Kim is going to keep her and care
for her. Bessie, now renamed Priscilla is apparently having the time
of her life playing with the other FELV cats. When i visited Kim, she
told me how Priscilla would curled up under her chin when she went to
bed. Awwwwww!!!!
I got introduced to all the cats this woman was fostering and then met
all the FELV positive cats. This one big cat, name Jojo, kept rubbing
against me and would meow if i stopped giving him attention.
Priscilla hardly recognized me at all. She ran away from me and had to
be pulled out from under the bed by Kim. I held out my finger (the
same one she bit) and she just sniffed at it, but didn't know what to
make of me.
But as the only kitten in the back bedrooms (where the FELV cats live)
she is being QUITE a hoolikitten and running around, getting into
things, sneaking up and bapping the older cats.
I did manage to get some pics. I apologize for the long links. If you
can't view them, they are in my yahoo photos under Pirahna Cat.

from me.

I love this one. Kim tried to hold up Priscilla for the camera, and
she held up her paws, saying "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Kim finally held her and snuggled her close...... You can't really
tell, but she is now a healthy 5 lbs now.

She then wriggled out and disappeared into the closet. So i just stuck
my camera in there and snapped a pic, and i was very happy with the
result.

She's happy, healthy, and has a loving home. Can't really ask for more
than that. :)

She is adorable. Reminds me of my first love (Friskie) that was a 10th
birthday present. MLB

What a little sweetheart, Kristi!
She bears a strong resemblance to Luthien,
I must say.
Here's hoping she stays healthy.

Eeeek! I have a terrible weakness for feisty kittens, even biters.
Purring for a long, happy life for this little rascal. ;)
