I have been sponsoring a cat at Best Friends animal sanctuary, and
I just got an email today saying that she has found a permanent home.
Hooray! She's a white cat with one blue and one gold eye, and she
was rescued from the shelter in Beirut that had been bombed.
Here's her picture:

(They don't seem to update the site very consistently - it still
says she's looking for a sponsor.)
Just wanted to share the happy news!

I only get an error message when I try to access the site. Is there
something missing (or incorrect) in the link?

Same here with the error message, Mary. I sponsored a kitty but haven't
heard any updates about her.

They might have removed her from the site not long after I posted.
Evidently, Theresa was able to view the picture, but maybe it was
changed after that, but before you and Jill tried to look. I just
went to that link myself, and got an error message, too. And then I
clicked on a link to list all the cats looking for sponsors, and Dori
was no longer in the list. So maybe they keep up with the site better
than I thought!

Great! That's really nice that they let you know, too.

Yes, it seems the folks at Best Friends took down her picture, since
she has been adopted. It was there when I posted my first message about
it, but has since been removed.

That's great news. Bless you for sponsoring her. Tippy says "good job" :-)
