Ever since the first time Little Boy discovered the smell of
peppermint on my breath, he has started asking for it at bedtime.
He jumps up on the dresser, makes a demanding squeak of a meow, and
demands that I let him inspect my breath.
If I have a peppermint in my mouth, he tries his darndest to stick
his nose in my mouth until the candy is gone. If I don't have a mint,
he leads me to the living room, jumps on the bookcase and paws at the
candy jar until I get a mint.
I suspect I have created a monster...

A very intelligent monster! Be afraid... Seriously, that's pretty
impressive that he knows to paw at the candy jar!

No more than I did when I first brought Stinky home. He loves minty
smells, too. Sometimes after I brushed my teeth, and I had gone to
bed, he would come along and try to pry my mouth open with his paws to
get a whiff of my minty breath. ;)

Betsy used to do that. Neither Mandy nor Sam has ever had the slightest
interest in minty smells.

Dylan used to leave his toothpaste uncapped until the night we found
out that Tyche likes to step on the tube and eat the toothpaste.
