We're leaving Thursday to visit friends in Knoxville. They've been
extremely close online family for a couple years now and as of early last
week, she has "guaranteed" health for a couple weeks or so. Hopefully
that's changed now, prayers came through and she was approved for
experiemental chemo. She's literally ran through everything available to her
and the only thing left are drugs in current testing phases. To be approved
means hours of research, phone calls, paper work and pleas.
Without Chemo, they were looking at her passing by Christmas. With it,
February. But that's saying little as she's been leaving docs hanging dry
with 2-3 month "dead" lines six months later on multiple occassions.
This is it, this is going to be our miracle drug or we're going to loose one
of the strongest women Jody and I have come to hold dear. She's in her 30s,
and they have a 13 year old son. They've been married since she was 16,
together since she was 14 or so.
At any rate, we're driving up to spend time with them. The last couple weeks
have been hard. Appreciate prayers and purrs headed their way and ours for
travel.
Happy Thanksgiving and see you in December :)

Purrs for your friend Grace, and their family too.
I hope that the extra time she has been able to
buy has been as much pain free as possible.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.

Thank you :).
According to her husband100% pain free, Tension. Friends who see her often
say it's a bit less than that but overall she's been pain-free considering
the degree of pain most cancer patients have.
It's brain cancer and the doc more or less assured them that it'll be
pain-free until the end, starting with a headache and ending with a coma.
In his experience, the type goes so fast you won't know it's happening until
she's gone.
His explanation of how it was going to go reminded me alot of Tanada's
(Pam's) Rob. She sent him to work one morning and by the next morning was
undergoing surgery.

Purrs on the way for sure for her to outsmart those doctors once again. And
