Brave Boyfie, indeed. I hope the rat didn't injure him. (Thanks for doing
the math for the measurement.)
We had some neighbors who had a cat who caught a rat and brought it into the
house through the cat door. He let the rat loose and it promptly climbed
the drapes up to the rod.
I guess they had quite a time rounding it up.,
Good luck with your surgery.,

No math required, I still work in imperial measurements! Unlike my 29 y o
sister in law who would not be able to visualise how big something was if it
measured a foot or whether it was hot or not at 80F.

LOL! Boyfie's hunting skills have improved over the last year or so, so at
least anything he brings home - for me or Kitty - is dead. We did have two
episodes of live collared doves a couple of years ago, though, when he was
learning.. he was able to catch them and rush home with them but he hadn't a
clue at the time that he should have killed them first. I tried to nurse
the first one back to health, as it seemed uninjured, but no good, it died
in a couple of days.
That doesn't happen now, fortunately. As he has matured (he must be 4 years
old now) he has become more proficient. I would prefer it if he didn't
catch birds and just confined himself to mice and rats, but that isn't
realistic. If he is going to be a hunter he will catch both birds and
rodents.

Thanks. I don't know when it will be.
