So you know those little colored marshmellows, the flavored ones? Well
Scotland and Nicky Jimmy LOVE them. Scotland will eat the lime and
Nicky eats the lemon (which make his eyes puffy) and the strawberry
pinks ones.
Scotland also eats the mini-white ones as well. Ever seen a cat on a
sugar high?

Welcome to RPCA, by the way!
Sounds like Nicky might be a bit allergic to those candies, maybe to
some chemical in them. Maybe he shouldn't have it?

Hi Katherine---I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but like you
said, they *are* like children sometimes and we have to make decisions
for them. Sugar isn't good for cats for a lot of reasons -- tooth decay
(just like us) is one of them. Too much junky food and they won't eat
their cat food, which has the nutrients they need.
We all want to treat them, I understand that. The favorite treat around
here is a dollop of cream or bits of cooked chicken breast. I never
have found a packaged "cat treat" that mine would eat.
