So, because she is weird, my mom bought a fake cat.
I have no idea what or why...but it looks like a dead cat, stuffed badly, and
it does certain things depending on where you pet it. I'm not touching that
scary thing. It looks evil.
Anyway, Harvey fell asleep cuddled up next to it.
My mom had me take pictures.
I'll post 'em as soon as I know where on the computer she put them.

I bought a fake cat once. I had infant orphan kittens to raise, and it was
marketed as a "surrogate mother." It even had a heartbeat. It was pretty
creepy-looking too.

Is that one of those "Fur Real Friends?"
I think those are funny...they lean into your hand, purr, arch their
backs, and even hiss if you pull their tails! I was tempted to get
one to freak out our cats, but they were pretty pricey.

Did it work? Our infant kittens didn't have one and bonded to my DP
(dear partner) instead....they're physically healthy adults now who
seem to think they're human just like MomDad. "Typing on a laptop is
NORMAL! ALL cats do this! Just like MOMDAD!"

>The kittens really didn't like her much. It didn't help that she "died" (her
heartbeat thing broke) about a week after I got her.
