I bought a new throw for my bed to keep "me" warm this winter, and I'd
put it in the spare room while I changed the bed, Otis (naturally)
discovered it, and has added it to his portfolio of sleeping abodes.
As he wasn't been too chirpy recently I decided to let him sleep in
there for a while, but he's been driving me mad waking me up too early
(I work lates), so last night I locked him downstairs. When I went
downstairs this morning he was asleep in the basket of clean clothes,
awaiting ironing, on top of a felt coat! He looked so funny in there,
if I hadn't been so sleepy I would have taken a pic of him, on the sofa
(his sofa nontheless, i.e. the one I've kept especially for him to
scratch!) in the yellow basket, it was like he was telling me off for
banishing him downstairs, he's never been in the basket before and now
I have to rewash everything, cheeky monkey!

Thanks, I haven't been around because I've not really felt like it -
have had a bit of a bad year but starting to feel a bit better, still
lurk about once a week though! Just waiting for Otis's blood test
results, they were supposed to call me today but the computer at the
vets was down and it was mayhem in there, plus my vet's emigrated to
Tasmania and the locum didn't know Otis so I had to tell her everything
about him. I'm also waiting for the bill, groan. The annoying thing
is I will have to call them tomorrow because I need to know if I need
to alter any of his meds, but then they'll remember that I didn't pay,
perhaps if I'm really lucky they'll get the bill wrong, LOL.
Marcia & Otis (currently sitting on the puter mouse, keeping it warm
for me, nutter). If I can get a pic of him in the laundry basket I'll
post it, it's too funny for words.

Well of COURSE! Why else is everything covered with a fine film of fur?
=o) This is the first law of Hoomin Ownership that every eight week old
kitten understands.
Anything soft and warm DEFINITELY belongs to the cat by definition.
Just as my new corduroy jacket was purchased for the pussycats. They
just can't understand why I insist on hanging it in the closet rather
than draping it helpfully over the bed so they can lie on it properly.
